The
next morning Steven, Jessica, Violet and Jake all went to the bus
stop. everybody was wearing big coats and hats and gloves and scarves
because they were going to the north pole and that is a very cold
place. "How are we even going to get to the north pole?"
Jessica asked Uncle Steven. He smiled and said "On the bus of
course!" So they all got on the number 11 bus, which actually
goes to the north pole. It goes kings heath, acocks green, yardley,
stechford, fox and goose, star city, north pole, erdington and then
back in a big circle. "That is where Auntie Ness lives"
Steven said pointing to the part of the map that said Erdington. The
bus came and they all got on board. They went upstairs and Steven and
Violet were pretending to drive the bus and Jessica was quite embarrassed by Uncle Stevens behavior.
The
bus pulled up at the north pole and they all got off the bus. The
North pole bus stop was actually a giant red and white candy cane!
Uncle Steven pulled a big map put of his pocket and pointed to it.
“Right, if this is were we are” he mumbled to himself. Violet and
Jake were very excited they'd never been to the North Pole before and
were looking forward to seeing the reindeer and some more elves and,
hopefully they could find Santa and help to save Christmas. “I
think they toy factories are over this way” Steven said pointing into the distance. It didn't look like the right way, but everywhere
looked the same because there was snow all over the place. They
walked, and they walked and they walked.
